António, try to comment out line 69 (place two forward slashes // in the beginning of the line).

so,
if (is_home())
becomes
// if (is_home())

this should add nofollow to all external links in posts where ever they are. give it a try.

Hi Erik,

how difficult would it be to have this plugin nofollow external links in all posts? This sounds bad but I am thinking of a user generated content kind of thing and do not want to deal with people wasting my time by trying all kind of trickeries.

There would be a profile page and those links could be followed (and that’s why I ask for posts not throughout the blog) but that is not an urgent feature.

Steven, I don’t know how WP MU plugins works, but if it works the same way as stand alone WP, than you shouldn’t need to change anything extra in the plugin code — the sochi_get_domain_name_from_uri() will return “domain.com” weather the input has subdomain or not. so if your ancor’s uri is

http://domain.com/link.html
http://user.domain.com/link.html
http://firstname.lastname.domain.com/link.html

etc…, the plugin still only checks for domain.com, which means all subdomains will be affected and “nofollow” should be added to any of these links.

Thx for your plugin – with a site with many subdomains, e.g. a wordpress MU site, can we set this for domain:

*.domain.com

where any subdomain will be affected by the plugin?
